Book donations are officially open again!
First and foremost, thank you. The overwhelming warmth, welcome, and incredible book donations from our Long Island community have been so wonderful. After taking a brief pause to catch up, we are so excited to start welcoming your pre-loved books back into the shop!
Whether you're doing a bit of shelf-clearing or passing along your favorite reads, bring them by during our regular shop hours.
A few quick guidelines before you pack them up:
Quality Over Quantity: We accept gently used fiction, non-fiction, sci-fi/fantasy, children’s books, and graphic novels in good reading condition (no missing pages, heavy water damage, mold, torn covers, or broken spines, please!).
No textbooks or encyclopedias.
No travel books published before 2020 (pre-COVID), since travel landscapes have changed so much since then!
No magazines or heavily damaged items.
A little thank-you: As a token of appreciation for supporting our independent bookstore ecosystem, every accepted donation drop-off will receive a 15% off discount voucher, valid on a single purchase!
Drop-offs are welcome anytime the store is open. Thank you for keeping our community shelves vibrant and sustainable. We can't wait to see what treasures you're passing along!
